So I game on an ultrawide 21:9 2560 x 1080 panel. I have been using shadowplay to record my gameplay since there is an option to save the last 5 minutes of gameplay (very useful if I got an ace or made some sick headshot). However the gameplay gets recorded in a 2560 x 1080 resolution, when I put that footage into sony vegas it is black barred and when I render the video the entire thing gets black bars including the non-gameplay elements. My render format is "Audio: 128 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, 32 Bit, Stereo, AAC
Video: 59.940 fps, 1920x1080 Progressive, YUV, 16 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000" and here is an example of a video I made.https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=BTArELe_tG4 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG-gDskXHMs. As you can see it either black bars at the top or at the bottom. Really what I want to know is are there any tools I can use to take my 21:9 gameplay and turn it into a 16:9 ratio. If you know a way around just getting rid of the black bars in the render I would really appriciate that too. Thanks for the help in advance!
