2560x1080 vs 1920x1080

I'm planning to buy a new gaming pc and i don't know which monitor to buy. I was thinking at http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-25UM57-P-ultrawide-led-monitor

. i have a gtx 950. Where will be a noticeable fps decrease?

I would go for the 1920x1080 one, because that is all a 950 can generally do. anything more will start to lag, and frame-rates will be lower.

One thing you may not be aware of... that 25" Ultra Wide will give you the vertical space of like a 19" or 20" monitor. If you do go for an Ultra Widescreen, don't get anything smaller than a 29", which will give you the vertical of like a 24".. or if you have the desk space, go for a 34".
