2560x1440 monitor now or wait for UHD to decrease in price?

I saw that Samsung is selling a 60hz UHD monitor for $740 while 2560x1440 monitors can be had for $280 or so. Do you think it's worth waiting a year or two? Not sure if UHD will be standard soon.

For gaming you will need some serious hardware to play above medium-high on UHD.-just something to consider.
Can't predict the market, but i don't think uhd monitors will get cheap any time soon.

I would go with a 2560x1440 monitor, 4K monitors will be pricey for a while along with needing a beefy graphics card like the previous poster stated.
