Are there any 256 meg 6600 GT cards running on AGP, I've only seen 128
versions?

The F.E.A.R demo runs like cack on my Radeon 9800 Pro so I am looking to
upgrade my graphics card but don't really fancy changing the motherboard etc
yet...

Will I notice a big increase in performance over the 9800pro?

My system:

Pentium 4 3.2Ghz
Radeon 9800pro 128meg
Abit IC7 mobo
1 gig ram

Would this be a good card to go for?

It would be better but not by a lot, I would get either a 6800GT or an
ATI X800XL AGP card if I was you. I went from the 9800pro to the
X800XL and it's a good performance boost. I have the same mb as you
and my cpu is P4 3.0ghz w/1gb of ram. My next upgrade is to go AMD64
and increase the cpu speed. 6600GT is a nice card but 6800GT is quite
a bit faster.

You're comparing a prev-gen flagship card to a current-gen midrange card.
You won't notice the difference without the help of a benchmark. My advice
would be to either make a real upgrade to the 6800GT or hope that the next
Catalyst suite has some FEAR optimizations.

Any particular make for the 6800GT? The ones at dabs.co.uk are around the
£200 mark, if I'm spending that much I want to make sure it's a good one!

That one should be fine as it just follows Nvidia's reference design.
