[SOLVED] 260/288 pin Ram for intel b360 chipset

I'm going to buy a dell vostro 3670mt pre-built desktop pc with an i3 8100cpu on an intel b360 chipset with 4gb ddr4 2400mhz ram. The shopkeeper said it has a hynix ram inside it which is not in our market. The ram isn't going to be enough for me. I would like to know if a 4gb corsair 288pin ddr4 2400mhz ram is going to work on this chipset. And is it going to make any problems having two different branded ram??

Mix-and-match RAM is always a gamble. Spend a little extra and buy a matched set of two 4GB or 8GB DIMMs. That RAM is guaranteed by the manufacturer to work as a set.

Ok i want to know if a pair of corsair 288pin 4gb ddr4 rams are gonna work on this b360 chipset. I already said that it's a dell vostro pre-built desktop..

It should. Intel is less finicky about RAM than Ryzen is.
