I'm going to buy components for my first gaming pc on black friday and it costs about 11000kr in Sweden which is about 1000 us dollars, so i'm wondering if I should get a Ryzen 2400g or a Ryzen 2600. The 2400g is about 20-40 dollars cheaper in sweden and i'm unsure which one is the best bang for the buck, right now i'm thinking about buying the 2600. It would be great if you could help me choose the right cpu.

1440p at about 144fps would be great

here is the rest of the build

Corsair vengance lpx 3200mhz 2x8

Phanteks Eclipse P300

Palit Rtx 2070 Dual

Kingston A400 120GB

Asrock B450 Pro4

Ryzen 5 2600 is far better than Ryzen 5 2400G.

Ryzen 5 2400G is approximately equal to Ryzen 5 1500x that one level below Ryzen 5 2600.

In addition Ryzen 5 2600 is more modern than Ryzen 5 2400G and has some architectural improvements that improve the use of overclocking and memory. Ryzen 5 2400G would only be advisable if you wanted to use its integrated graph (which is not the case).

The difference between the two CPUs largely compensates for the price difference.
