Not many newer games supports sli or crossfire . It's not worth the money and power . What resolution you game at ? You can spend that money on monitor (upcoming 4k 144hz ) or cpu (8700k ) . After that you can buy the latest upcoming volts to drive that monitor . So save the money for that .

1. Build is severely unbalanced imo. If you can go for a 1080Ti sli, you can go for a better chip.

2. Yes, you do. Some high end mobos come with a HB SLI bridge, but many do not.

3. You cannot SLI without a bridge.

Like parani said, SLI is not supported very well nowadays.

You can do much better for the build.

With that budget, you can easily include an SSD and your case can be better.

If the budget is 2.6k, what is the point of going up till 3k??

Also, is not the 1080Ti better than the Vega 64? And the EVGA version is cheaper than the Vega 64.

Personally, I would say that cooler is overpriced. The H100i v2 is just as good irl, has better software to control and is cheaper. Only point for X62 is RGB.

Pretty sure what ate up your budget is the monitor.

^ yeah, that setup is for the ultrawide curved screen gaming experience and rgb.
Vega 64 cuz that ultrawide is freesync. Good luck getting an ultrawide g sync and 1080ti combo within 3k.

Also, the components I chose aren't just top bill components :

Mouse : has haptic feedback just like ur PS or Xbox controller.
Kb: dedicated macro buttons and rgb. Full fledged gaming keyboard.
Headset : improved version of void with better surround sound and comfortable padding.
