Hey guys. I have a gtx 1070 and an amd fx 9370. I want to buy one of these but I'm not sure the 2600x is worth it that much. So what do you recommend? I'm gaming at 1080p 60hz. Thanks in advance.
FYI, you can use GPU hardware encoding for streaming aswell. I personally would recommend you use this unless your in a niche where you want the best quality to compression ratio.
I personally find that using NVEC is a lot better in terms of reliability even though i have a 1700X.
At 1080p 60hz any of these will be great in fact they all be overkill. If budget is not an issue the 2700x or the 8700k are both great ill go with the 2700x
If all your doing is gaming, and your on a 60hz display, save a few bucks and either go with a 2600/2600X or a Core i5 8500/8600K. I'd recommend you go with Ryzen.
For 60+ fps gaming any of them is good, if your budget allows it go for the best for gaming (8700K) if not next in line would be 2700X and then 2600X and last 8600K.
Look for now I will only game but in the future I may record/stream/render and my budget is about 600€ but I can give 700€ to buy the 2700x but I don't know if it worths it. I already have a cooler btw. Thanks in advance.
If you will stream, record and render you are netter with a ryzen cpu, if you need to save some bucks go with 2600/2600x if not go 2700/2700x
I agree with Rakanyshu, go wiwth 2700X if you cant afford go with 2600X, no point to go with a x470 board if you are not gonna sli or crossfire, go for a cheap board.
