I'm looking for a monitor with the specs in the title. I'm currently using a BenQ 24" 1080p @ 120hz with a 2ms response time and I feel its time to upgrade.

I just bought a EVGA 980 ti SC+ with 6gb of ddr5 so its time to upgrade the monitor also. I need it to be atleast a 27" 1440p @ a minimum of 120hz 2ms response time. I would like it to do 4k @ 60hz also. My budget is $850

27 inch, 1440p, 144Hz, G-sync, and 1ms response time.

But the Acer listed above is an IPS vs this TN monitor... Personally i'd take the IPS monitor even if it is 2-3ms slower response time, just put this one out there to give you options, these are pretty much the only two that come close to what you want.

We are all pointing him to the same monitor, i was just showing him the options. :)

I don't know much about panel types yet. Not sure what the difference is between IPS and TN monitors. I bought the BenQ monitor based on my CS:GO needs at the time. I still play CS:GO heavily on a competition level so I need the monitor to be the best of the best. I can stretch the budge to $1000 if need be.

IPS has superior image quality with better viewing angles. TN needing to be directly in front to see the a good picture was still mostly used for fast gaming with it's quick response times. Acer Predator is the first 144Hz IPS panel and is just as fast.

Both are perfectly fine with your needs even at competition levels.
Response time is pretty much the same as already said.

I still recommend the Acer because it's an IPS panel which just looks better than TN. :)
(Better colours and you can see everything from the side like if there is someone sitting next to you watching at an angle he can still see everything.)
