27'' 1440p, 165hz screen

Hi! i'm currently about to buy a pc rig with theese specs:
1 pcs Intel Core i7-8700K
1 pcs ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming
1 pcs Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC
1 pcs Corsair Hydro Series H60 CPU Cooler
2 pcs HyperX Fury DDR4 16GB
1 pcs Corsair TX750M, 750W PSU
1 pcs Svive Luna S700 W Midi Tower
1 pcs Samsung PM981 SSD 512GB M.2
1 pcs Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Will i be able to run with a 1440p monitor with 165hz on maxed out settings in games? or will i be getting drops?

Doesn't get much more high-end than that, you'll have no problem maxing out pretty much every game smoothly.
You have the best gaming CPU and the second best GPU on the market, the only thing that would get you more frames would be a 2080 ti but I don't think it's necessary @1440p.
I run a GTX 1080 and 3770k at 1440p 165hz, and I have 0 issues with smooth play at max settings. I don't hit a locked 165 fps in AAA titles or the most CPU demanding titles, but this is due to my older i7 and yours is much faster.
