Hi guys!

As the title states, I want help on buying a new monitor at 27 inches for my new job as a Web Designer / Web Developer!! I want it to have UHD (4K) resolution 3840x2160p and 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio.

The panel I think must be IPS or PLS for best text viewing and to be the most comfortable for the eyes. My budget is $1000 top (I want a very good monitor)!

What do you propose?!! Thank you all! :wahoo:

Good choice!
But HDR10 - it is simple marketing and not pure HDR10 (10 bit per channel). It has just 8-bit + A-FRC (frame rate control) as you can see on the screenshots below. I think LG 27UK850-W has the same image quality as LG 27UD88-W but in the first one the brightness is higher than in the second one.

Of course, if I'm going to upgrade some old monitor now, I would definitely buy LG 27UK850-W.

Very good monitor!!

I checked some reviews on the web which saying the best for it! But searching, I found out the new model, the LG 27UK850-W which supports HDR10 also.

What's your opinion about this? This model also comes with a little lower price than the older one...
