27" IPS 1440p monitor?

So Im looking for a 27" 1440p IPS monitor. Specifically one with really high contrast ratio, colours, etc. Just graphics in general, the one that shows highest image quality. Doesn't have to have a high refresh rate, response time or ms. I guess one that is not too expensive would be best.

There are mostly gaming monitors at 27" that are 1440p IPS...so take a look at 25"..Asus, Dell, or Acer. U can get a good one under $300usd.

I dont really mind if it is a gaming monitor, as long as it has my requirements, I would prefer if it were 60hz though due to budget.

As I said, lots of good 25" monitors that fit the bill. Where are u buying? Based on what you said, avoid gaming oriented monitors. They are fast but not worth it unless for gaming.

Im currently contemplating between the AOC Q2778VQE 60Hz 27.0" and BenQ GW2765HT 60Hz 27.0". Are the differences in display colours and contrast ratio worth the sacrifice of response time? Is there really a difference between 4ms and 1ms?

Difference? Hard to say..depends on real world results. Manufacturers will post information. But if I had to decide on the two I'd get the AOC. Response times only matter for gaming, otherwise you won't notice the difference.
