I have an AMD A8 6600k, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, Crucial SSD, 8gb ram, and Corsair CX430 bronze psu (non modular). I want to play more graphically demanding games as the integrated graphics is not enough anymore. I may add a WD Blue 1 TB later for more storage.

I am looking to play H1Z1 on high settings @1920x1200 and other games in the future. On Pcpartpicker my build gets to the 300w range but I'm not sure what the amount will be during gaming loads.

I'm ultimately leaning towards the Sapphire R9 270 Dual-x, but not sure when playing games the load might be too much for the CX 430 because I don't want to upgrade the power supply at this point.

I would like to know if i can overclock the R9 270 at all without reaching the limit of the power supply, and if not at least handle the R9 270 at stock speeds including the rest of my system.

Thanks in advance

The 270 will use anywhere from 50 to 150 watts. The CX 430 will be able to handle it, but it will put a lot of stress on the power supply. Like, it's suggested to always be 50-100 watts below what your power supply is rated to, and that graphics card will put it right up at the limit, maybe even over under heavy load.
