Keep in mind broadwell-e is due out in the 2nd quarter, of this year, so April-June timeframe. 32gb really isn't needed for gaming though. 16gb would be plenty. Maybe go with 16gb and use the savings for some more storage.

I'll add to LoH's answer by noting that Polaris/Pascal will come out for GPUs in a similar timeframe, so there are benefits to waiting. Still, I doubt that 980 Ti SLI will be lacking anytime soon.

I know about the new cards coming out and I did some math and looked around and the performance boost would be negligible for what I want to do and for the cost. Quick question though I am not terribly sure about the motherboard do you have any suggestions for an alternative one of equal quality?
