Hey guys, I was wondering if I could ask for You're advice before I make the decision of purchasing either of these CPU's?
Having being a AMD Fanboy since I was 13 lol, I have had one ever since the dual core series (before this a Pentium 4) and loved them, but I have decided I want to build a Intel Pc because I was really disappointed with the release of the Bulldozer and Pile driver CPU's, the last PC I built for myself was a 6200 FX and for gaming and abit of video editing it sort of lacked.
So I have a max of around £390 to buy a motherboard, a cpu and a cooler, so far I have this:
i7 2700k £220
ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 Intel Z77 Socket 1155 Motherboard £109
Cooler Master Hyper 212 £29
Delivery £10
Do you think that would be more than enough for a average gamer using Vegas and recording game play in BF3, or COD ect using Fraps, Bandicam and DXTory? If I went the 3770k route I wouldnt be able to get the 3rd party cooler as I'm limited to funds, and want this PC to last quite a bit of time (at least 2 years) and if I did get the 3770k running stock speeds with the stock cooler would it bottleneck 2 GTX 480s in games like BF3 32 & 64 player servers??
Thanks again guys
