Hey there. I am using a R5 2600 with stock cooler and hitting some high temps.

My friend bought a 2700X and water cooler, and his stock 2700X cooler is an extra (im planning on take It).

On other hand, my Brother have a MasterLiquid 120 lite from 2018 (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-lite-120/) that he doesnt use anymore.

Should i change for any of those or Just keep using my stock?

2700X os with default thermal paste yet

Solution
I would try the 2700X cooler.
It was designed for a 105w processor compared to 65w of your 2600.

Any cooler needs a good source of fresh air to let it do it's job.
What is the make/model of your case and fan arrangement?

If you take the case panels off, does that help with temperatures?
If so, look first to case cooling solutions.

AIO coolers are no more effective than air coolers until you get to 360 aio sizes.
If you have 160mm headroom for a 120mm tower type air cooler, that would be a better solution.
aio coolers do not last forever. In time, the system infuses with air.
Mechanical pumps wear out.
And, while rare, aio coolers can leak causing catastrophic damage to thter parts.

I don't have a real photo, but my case is like this.

Power supply is below everything, I have a single cooler above, a 3 fan 2060 super and currently using my stock cooler. Would do the same as image with liquid one, but ppl say the 2700X is really good for a stock cooler. As u said, 65W to 105W is a "big" upgrade. B450M asus prime MB with a m.2 ssd too
