270x crossfire dilemma

Hey guys!

I've been thinking about getting a brother for my windforce 270x 2gb model, BUT.

Im worried, that i will run into alot of programms, wouldnt be able to play the new releases of games, cause of the crossfire support and so on.

What would you suggest- encourage me getting another 270x, or sell my current one now, get like 290 or wait for the new amd cards?

I'd suggest you get the 290, a singlr gpu is more likely to be stable than crossfire, also, as you said, not every game supports crossfire, titanfall, eso, dark souls two, to name a few, not to mention you may have to get a higher watt psu, crossfiring will give you ultra but a 290 will do that by itself, also, your motherboard may not be running at x16 x8 so you won't gwt full potential even if you do crossfire

ye, im currently looking at a 290 priced at a 240 euros! reference model tho..

Hmm.. That's not a good option, try to get a asus, xfx or sapphire model at least

i really love the windforce coolers, they look nice and perform really good.

Yeah if you can get a 290 with windforce then that's fine alsoz any make BUT the stock will be okay I think
