Hello!

I am doing a AMD based build and I am constantly getting pulled back and forth between AMD and Nvidia. I had two different cards in mind, AMD R9 270X (Not sure which version of it, feel free to recommend one) or the EVGA GTX 660 SC.

I would be using my machine to play games such as, BF4, Call of duty Ghosts, Assassins Creed Black flag, etc and would expect the games to max out 1080p and 60 or above frames. Benchmarks would be awesome to for a comparison!

I really do need help deciding between the two, Thanks!

for bf4, the amd cards perform quite a bit better. And when they finally release mantle, you may well be able to run it maxed out at 60fps.
As a previous gtx660 owner, i would take the 7870. I had a few issues with my 660's, and discovered along with another member on toms, that it was limiting itself to using only 1.5gb vram in some games, due to the strange layout of the 192bit memory. 1.5gb is 192 bit, the other 0.5gb is 64 bit, so the card attempts not to use the slower portion of the memory.
