27in 1440p G-Sync 144hz IPS Monitors Which one?

I am looking at getting a 27 in 1440 144hz ips monitor with g-sync as I plan to buy a gtx 1080 in the coming weeks. I have heard mixed things between the Acer predator xb271hu vs Asus rog swift pg279q. Reviews have said the Asus has more QC issues and blacklight bleed and then others say the same thing about the Acer. I really can't seem to find a clear winner. There is only a $50 price difference so if quality on one is better its worth it, but I would like to get one and not have send one back for QC issue after QC issue. Honestly i really can't make a decision on this.

CPU: i7 3770k OC to 4.4 ghz
GPU as of now Sapphire 7950 vapor x
GPU soon to be: Third Party GTX 1080
PSU: Corsair HX750 Watt power Supply
MOBO: ASrock Z77 Extreme 4
SSD: samsung evo 120 GB
HDD: 2 2TB seagate barracuda 7200 rpm
RAM: 8GB of Corsair vengeance 1600mhz

You got to love. Best of the best gaming monitors. The pg279q takes my vote. It's color reproduction and superior stand gives it the node in my opinion. I wouldn't worry to much about QA issues. Both acer and Asus have excellent track in producing high end monitors. Bad units happen to every manufacturer, it's just the nature of the beast.

Greetings! You have higher chance to get Asus with back-light issues than Acer. If you can, go for another monitor without these problems. Dont forget to connect your PC with Monitor using Display Port to get 144+Hz (HDMI only 60). I hope you will have the best possible model without any issues.

My personal choice is Acer Predator xb271hu.

Thanks ya I would love to look towards other models, but as it stands these are the only monitors sub $900 with the specs I need. Thank you for all of your help.

Would love to hear more opinions on this. I have the same dilemma. I'm scared of QC issues.
