Hey there guys. Im looking to do a build inside a phanteks p400. Wondering if i get a 60mm+ thick, 280mm rad will be enough for a GTX1070 and an i5 6600k. I plan on OC for both parts. Will get a different case if a 360 is needed.

Solution
280 rad of 60mm thickness is more than enough.
I have normal thickness 120+240 rads for i7-4770K and GTX 1070.
this is enough to keep the liquid at ambient temperature on idle and about 7C above ambient under load.
I forgot to mention one thing. With 60mm rads, static pressure optimized fans are must.
Noctua, Corsair SP, or even new corsair maglev fans are going to work. don't even try airflow optimized fans.
Also, for convenience of cleaning (and it's not important from performance point of view), put your fans in pull config (between the case and rad, so they will pull the air through the radiator out of the case)

Yeah thats all fine. Ive been building pcs for a couple of years so i know about the general stuff, but this is my first custom loop. Thanks for all the help!
