So i have a AMD R9 280x that was used as a mining card i think its on its last legs.
i have 2 of them one in my partners pc and i have the [redacted] one, it constantly tears pixeleates and blue screens when i play LoL, WoW and rainbow 6 siege all on low to medium, is there anything i can do to fix it.

So far i have uninstalled the drivers then reinstalled them, no luck, rolled back to a previous driver, also no luck, locked it at the minimum clock, still no good, I even formatted my SSD and reinstalled the drivers and nothing i can afford another GPU for a while and recommendations or trick some one can think of that may fix it

My full system is,
i5 4690k at 4.1mhz
ASRock z97 Pro4 motherboard
Corsair vengance 2x4g 1866mhz ram
NZXT dues core radiator X60
Samsung 128g SSD
Segate 2T HDD
Silverstone 1000w pgold powersuply (it was for dual 280x yeah i know its overkill)

Well at least if the card does totally fail you can use the iGPU that is built into the CPU until you save up the money to buy a new card.

I guess my next question is have you tried physically removing the card from the computer and reinserting it?

How long would it take you to save $229 for the RX 480 due out on the 29th-30th of June?
