Hi !

Everything is in the title.
It would be to pair it with a 12700K.

Thank you 😁

Looks a bit too cheap. In my local store, that MoBo goes for €433.60. And around €400 on different retailers,

My question would be, is that MoBo new or used? If used, then the price is a bit too much. For used MoBo, €200-220 is more reasonable price.
This is a motherboard used on Amazon.
I think to drop this idea because DDR5 is too expensive.
What would you recommend as a DDR4 model for a 12700K?

And what do you think of the EDGE Wifi?

Solid mid-range option.

MSI MPG Z690 Edge WiFi DDR4

This mid-range board offers a carbon fibre design, with a tinge of RGB that makes it a bit more colourful. With numerous features, including multiple heatsinks for M.2 and the VRMs. Also included for the VRMs is a heatpipe that should offer slightly better cooling. The MPG Z690 also has integrated WiFi and an IO shield – great additions!

Since you're planning to use 12th gen CPU, you can actually go with Z790 chipset MoBo as well, since those too are compatible with 12th gen.
And there are quite a few Z790 chipset MoBos that support DDR4,

Yes I saw the new Z790 PRO A and it just seems insane to me.
What do you think ?

The MSI Pro Z790-A Wifi?
Specs: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z790-A-WIFI

If so, then it supports DDR5, and i thought you were looking MoBos with DDR4?
Other than that, MoBo looks classy and solid, mainly for business/workstation use. Hence the lack of RGB on it as well. Though, couldn't find a review of it.

But if you're into DDR5, then how about MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Wifi,
review: https://www.geekawhat.com/msi-mpg-z790-carbon-wifi-review-affordable-z790-motherboard/

Review also includes nice comparison between Z690 and Z790 chipset Carbon Wifi MoBos, so you can see what's the diff.

Btw, if you want to see something truly insane, then take a look at MSI MEG Z790 Godlike,

Everything about it is insane, including price.
