Hey guys,
The time has come to upgrade my build, I'm currently running a 7770 Ghz edition as my GPU.
My full build is (Excluding irrelevant components) :

Intel Core i5 4570 @3.6ghz
SAPPHIRE HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB GDDR5
H87M-PLUS
Some Corsair Vengeance ram 16gb @1600mhz

I just don't know what GPU to get, my motherboard only supports crossfire and doesn't support SLI. I'm wanting this to be as future proof as possible, I'm leaning towards the 290 crossfire option due to I'll get much more GPU power out of it, however I'm looking into Nvidia's G-Sync technology and the other benifits to having a 780 and it's confusing me. There's also the 290x but I don't want to confuse myself anymore aha.

So what do you guys think I should do ?

Thanks in advance:)

Solution
Get a R9 290 with an aftermarket cooler. If you overclock it slightly it will be just as good as a R9 290x but a lot cheaper.
I would not get an Gtx 780 because it is overpriced.
I'm sorry with all these short answers I think we are making it more confusing.
The Gtx 780 is a bit better then the R9 290 but only by a few % so it doesn't justify the higher cost.
The R9 290x is better then the R9 290 but it is also a lot more expensive. If you get a R9 290 you can overclock it and it will be just as fast as a stock R9 290x. So I think a single R9 290 is the best option for you, it will max out every game and if you can't play games at max anymore, then it is time to add another R9 290 for crossfire. IF you would crossfire them now it would...

I hope I could help you and make things clearer!
