290x REALLY HOT

Good evening.

Im having temp issues with my R9 290x

It gets ridiculously HOT on Idle, i only have Spotify open and it tops 94c for no reason!

I applied thermal paste and it doesnt work, i tweaked the fan speed in Afterburner to 100% and ALL games lag and the sound is so annoying.

Please help

It's possible that hardware of the graphic card is damaged and is failing.
Have you played with overclocking options concerning the card?

If not, check voltages and do a visual inspection of the card to see is everything as it should be.
If yes, then lower overclocked settings because you will fry your card and do a visual inspection of the card to see is everything as it should be.
