I was thinking about upgrading my battery to a 5200m battery. Is it worth it?
Not the right voltage. May damage your device. Also we don't know the amps it puts out. The values need to be the EXACT same as the original battery for it to work and not kill the device.
So this is a bad move for Asus S550C http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/8Cell-Battery-for-ASUS-R405C-R405CA-R505C-R505CA-R550-S405C-S505CA-S550C-U48/152606031723?hash=item2388073f6b:g:cBsAAOSwvflZVh9e
It lacks a bunch of information needed to know if it's safe to use or not. Also a battery of the same size that is much bigger than the original is already a warning sign. You can't just cram more capacity in the same enclosure without doing something special to it or just lying.
