Hello guys,

Specs: MSIB85-E45, gtx970, i544660, 12ram, 650wpsu,

I bought my 970 4 mons ago and I bought I mobo few weeks ago. (Custom pc for gaming)

The problem happened last night after shutting down my pc---The gpu was spinning in full speed and lasted about 3 seconds, and then it calmed and everything looked just fine. This morning I turned on my pc and everything just fine except my gpu---it keep spinning (in a very quite speed) even the temp was 29C (Normally it won't spin until 50C since I setup on the software called EVGA PrecisionX 16 downloaded from steam, and I have used this software more than 200 hours)

So I was guessing it's about mobo's driver or gpu's driver that need to be updated.

I checked my gpu driver it has the lastest driver.

I couldn't check my mobo's driver because I am not able tp get into MSI homepage....

what else can I do for my gpu? I don't want to see it keep spinning even in low temp....

Thank you so much 😀

By still spinning, do you mean the fan is on? I would not mess with trying to turn it off, don't know whey it would bother you anyway if it spins, it's a fan, it's there to work and cool the card.

It would have nothing to do with the drivers, it's likely that the card or system is thinking the temperature is high enough that it needs to run the fan. Unless your system is crashing I would forget about it, no sense in messing around trying to fix such a minor thing where you are more likely to just mess up something else than do anything useful.
