At the beginning I would like to tell I tired to find the thread about it but didnt find regarding exact difference between those 2 or 5X series.

So I am going to buy new display at the end of the month and as far as I remember this is the best community I can ask as you are always helpful. So i tried to find the difference between those and 5X series but wasnt really lucky. Sources differ as well so I am not sure any more which one I should pick. I know they have various inputs like DVI/HDMI/DP but the question is which one will be best for gaming.

I was checking main LG page to compare them.
Can you try to explain to me how would they differ in the matter of image quality?

If you have one of those can you share the experience?

1) You should clarify it's the LG Electronics P-Class 29UM65 superwide monitor in the title and again in text
2) Before picking up a superwide, check for program incompatibility. A lot of games that work fine on 4K simply can't deal with the crazy aspect ratio of 21:9 and may show errors or in rare cases even crash.
3) Image quality wise, you're better off just getting a good 24" or 27" monitor of the same price. Dell has a nice 1600p 27" monitor for ~$550, and its image quality is top notch (if you want better quality you'll need a professional monitor and calibration)

1. Yes, I am sorry. That is my mistake.
2. I am aware about this as a friend has similar monitor but from DELL.
3. I was wondering about it and decided to go with ultra-wide.

If you understand the limitations, it's not a bad monitor. I'm sure you'll be happy with it, though if you're still on the rails here's a few alternatives (i'm sure you've already seen):

Asus and acer likely tie the LG for gaming performance (low latency, low gray to gray, etc) while the dell has a ton of features (like tons of inputs and better adjustable stand).

Thank you @basroil for sharing. This DELL is the exact one as my friend has. The build quality i very good and im quite sure much better than these LGs but unfortunately I have limited resources so I will stay with these.

If someone else have anything to say please go ahead. I still have time as I will order it in about 2 weeks or so.
Cheers!
