[SOLVED] 29WK500 or 29UM69G

i have been looking at these 2 monitors and am not sure which to get, they are both similarly priced and are 2560x1080 at 29 inches, however the 29WK500 has a 5ms response time, is ips and is 60hz, whilst the 29UM69G has a 1ms response time, is tn and is 75hz. is the better refresh rate and response time worth it for nothing more than a different panel type?

Not to me, personally. The IPS panel will have a better image and better color fidelity. The TN panel has the faster response time and refresh rate, both important in gaming. If the IPS panel is less than $10US more than the TN, I would go IPS. Personal preference and YMMV.
