I already have 2GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM in my CPU, i'm planning to buy another 4GB DDR3 1333mhz for the other free RAM slot in my MoBo. Is it OK to combine both RAM with different mhz?

Sorry bout the TYPO, i mean to ask if both ram of DDR3 but with different frequency (mhz) will work or how will the cpu take it?

Solution
It won't break, but there is always the possibility of unknowable memory issues.
It's a bad idea to mix ram, especially like that.
It's not much more expensive for 1600mhz anyways, you're just shooting yourself in the foot by going with 1333.
It will run both sticks at the slowest speeds though. And I would NOT recommend this purchase. Save up to buy a new kit of 2x4gb ddr3 1600 (for a total of 8 gbs) and just take out the old 2 ram sticks.
8gbs @ 1600 is ideal for gaming.
Mixing ram sticks like that will likely just lead to problems down the road anyways, so do it if you want to create future headaches for yourself.
