2gb or 4gb flash drives for a live cd

I've been looking for a performance comparison of a couple of pen drives sized between 2GB and 4GB but to no avail.
I'm particularly interested in performance of such drives with some sort of Live CD (say, Ubuntu) installed on them.

Are there any test like that published? Or if not, could TH perform such a benchmark?
