2gb to 3 gb difference

ok guys. will it make any difference to add another 1 Gb memory into my pC which already has 2 gb. i have 2 sticks of 667 mhz running in dual channel. and i have 512 mb 667 mhz laying around. i can buy second 512 mb. but is it worth it or waste of money. i think even if it makes difference i won't know. i do plan to upgrade to vista in 2 or 3 months. my PC is

pentium D 930 (3G)
2 GB dual channel memory (667 Mhz)
evga 8800 gts 320 MB superclocked.
320 Gb HD

Most apps and almost all (if not all) games don't even use a full 2gb. So no.

I don't think you would even use all of the 2 GB of RAM, never mind 3 GB.

Besides you are fine with 2GB, you won't hardly notice anything with 3GB.

I don't think you would notice a real difference at all. With Vista however the difference between 1 and 2 gb is noticible from what friends have said and from what I have read.
