Hello every one, Im planing to upgrade my home pc's ram 2gb to 4gb. If i upgrade i will see any difference ? My system: dual core 2.6ghz, 2gb ddr2 800 ram, thermaltake cpu cooler, 500w psu, geforce 6800xt pci -express, windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. Its my gaming pc .i know my gpu is ancient but i getting 45 fps on modern warfare 3, nfs hot pursuit, graw 2, and rainbow six vegas 2. Because im average pc user. But starcraft 2 getting 10- 20 fps and shogun is same. But my friends 6600gt getting 30 fps. I think my bottleneck is ram please reply

Well, u should do it! U will see only 3GB, because u have only x32bit windows. W7 loves the RAM and is very efficient in using it. It will not make things faster, but smoother. It helps with everything u do on your PC.

If u could get a SSD drive, even small like 32GB, do it. It is the best upgrade u can do without upgrading the CPU. U would stop seeing the busy circle.

And for the games to improve, the GPU upgrade will get u the FPS.
