Hey all, at the moment i got Corsair 1gb XL Pro, i also got 4x 512mb Corsair Value select DDR 400, which would give me more performance atm my FSB is at 360 and i want to keep it between 350 - 360, which will be the best option to put in my system, Thanks for your time!

AMD 64bit 3500+ @ 2.7Ghz

oops sorry i meant 260 not 3** ;p but anyway yes i do play bf2, but will the ram make it to that, and will the crappy timings on the value ram affect my comp that much? and at the moment in on the 4x divider

Not sure about timings using Intel boards but for AMDs the general rule is that you will have to run 4x512Mb RAM modules at 2T instead of 1T. You'd be much better of with 2x1GB modules that you can have at 1T.

honestly who focking cares about 1T 2T when the bigger issue has been avoided?

Your vaule ram will get to around 207FSB before crapping out...meaning your OC would be lower, meaning your performance would take a huge hit....and by huge i mean as much at 10-15%....worse timings for ram(minus 5%), 2GB of ram(-5% is some games but overall even), and OC at 207 insted of 260(minus 10%)

Think about it....you need a 2GB kit that can do tight timings 2-3-2-6 would be nice....at 260FSB....that ram, last i checked DOESN"T EXIST!!

Stay with 1GB, Sell the value ram, sell your 6800U...and buy a 7800GT....it will give you WAY WAY WAY more performance.
