Well it should look like normal 1920x1080 on a 27 inch screen. Sure it wont look as good as 2560x1440 but it's still decent. You should also just try gaming at 2560x1440, because you wont nearly need as much AA and stuff like that to make the games look good. A 970 does quite fine at 1440p most of the time. You only have to play around with the settings a bit.

So id just try out 2560x1440. If you arent happy with the performance go down to 1920x1080.

But 2560x1440 isnt 2k and you mean downscaling. :D

It's 2.5k. :p
2k is 2048x1080.

Most games are totally fine with a 970 even at 2560x1440 also the Gsync will help alot. I personally would just use the 970 for 2560x1440. Really no need to go to 1080p.

And yes, the screen is VERY good. G-Sync on 2560x1440 is pretty rare and only high end monitors have this feature at this resolution.

So you have Acer XB270HU bprz 27-inch WQHD NVIDIA G-SYNC.I want to buy this monitor a few months.
How is monitor,do you prefer it?
May you chech 1080p monitors (photo, videos, game, text vs) experiance?Possible may you send photo?:bounce:

It is the best available gaming monitor today, ASUS PG279Q will join the competition very soon.
I came from 1200p (or practically still 1080p but with 16:10), I do not plant to go back.
2560x1440 offers a lot more working room on your desktop, games look better/more, etc.
I am still keeping my U2412M tho', as secondary monitor.

About a photo of how 1080p on 1440p, I do not think my only camera (1+1 phone camera) can be used to judge if the picture is good or not.
But, yes, it is not as good as the native 1440p but actually not that bad.
I am using it to watch 1080p movies but not yet for 1080p games or pictures.

Can you say about this monitor opinion positive or negative?

Somebody have negative idea for acet brand? do you agree .what do you say?

The positive: XB270HU is the best monitor you can get for gaming today.

Now to the negative:
1.
It is the best monitor you can get today for gaming...if....yes...if
if you can get a fully working one.
Acer has quite a massive QC problem on XB270HU, you might have to RMA the monitor several times to get a fully working one.
Backlightbleeding, dead pixels, etc.
2.
It does not support 3D vision, if you want it.
3.
The glossy design
4.
It has only DP as input
