A bit more expensive is the
Asus pg279q with the previously mentioned features plus g-sync.
Google gtx1080 2k benchmarks to find out that yes 1080 is perfect for that resolution/refresh rate.
I have an evga gtx1080 ftw and an asus mg279q arriving on Monday.
I didn't went g-sync to limit the cost down to 650euro instead of 900, after some reading g-sync won't help at 144hz when the gpu is 1080 which can deliver 100+ fps on most titles with ultra settings.
Those look ok. I was hoping for something around $400-$500 U.S., I'd pay more for great colors and contrast though. So I think IPS is for me, I don't think the human eye can notice 3ms response time. Thanks for the suggestions!
