[SOLVED] 2K resolution from DVI-I Dual Link card to DVI-D Dual Link monitor?

I have 2 Samsung GW2765HT monitors which have DVI-D Dual Link input.
I am planning to buy NVIDIA Quadro K620 graphics card which has a DisplayPort and a DVI-I Dual Link outputs.
My question is whether I will get 2K resolution (specifically 2560x1440) using a DVI-D cable.

You should. DVI-D is a subset of the pins on DVI-I. As long as they are all dual link and you have a dual link cable you should be OK.
