[SOLVED] 2nd gen Ryzen an mobo advice plse

Hi I was wondering if anyone cud help me out here. ok so I've just bought an asus prime b450 plus motherboard and a new Ryzen 5 2600x CPU an was wondering if I will need to update the bios on mobo to run the 2nd gen Ryzen CPU or not. Any help wud be greatly appreciated thanks in advance guys
