Question 2nd hand PC purchase - £350 (current rrp est £900)

Hi, newbie sorry.

I'd just like to record in obs via steam client a game called marvel snap, and occasionally play a bit of Cs:go without stuttering, and have a system that's reasonably future proof for a couple of years or so.

This has come up for sale right near me, rrp originally 1k but is listed for sale from this person at £350 and in 'good' condition hardly used'.. Would this do you think be sufficient and do the job? And reasonably priced?

Or would I be better off just getting one of those cheap bundles around the £250-300 mark that suggest they can paly latest games etc without issue? It's hard work being this clueless 😪

The 9400F CPU is way behind current technology. it's from Intel series 9. We're currently at series 13 and series 14 will be released soon. 2.9GHz is slow by current standards. Most modern CPUs run at 4.0GHz+, maxing out at nearly 6GHz. Don't waste your money on an ancient system.

Thank you! Is there a budget option that'll get my by for what I need based on the above? I'd love to get stuck in to it, and test the water see if the whole video creation thing is for me. As I say though, completely dumbfounded with the masses of options.. thank god places like this exist with knowhow and kind enough to share it
