2nd hand RAM warranty for g.skill

Hello, I found this nice g.skill memory which was never put into a PC before. But the owner already opened the box. He's selling it to me and I wonder if it still has a warranty. Thanks in advance

While G.Skill memory has a lifetime warranty, it only applies to the original purchaser (unless local law does not allow this limitation).

Technically, no. As you're not the original purchaser.

In practice, G.Skill cannot prove you were not the original purchaser, if you have the receipt in hand.

Ultimately, RAM either works, or it doesn't (outside of rare situations). If you can test it, and it works, you should be fine.
