2nd monitor glitching out

Im running a dual monitor setup and have games one the main and discord and other apps open on the second. While im gaming the 2nd monitor will go black or videos will freeze the sound from them is fine but not the picture. The games im playing arent even using half my gpus vram but still cause this problem

Specs:
i7-4790k
16gb RAM
R9 390 8gb

Monitor 1 is 1440p
monitor 2 is 1080p

Are you playing your games in windowed border-less or full-screen windowed? Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard and that you're on the latest GPU drivers. Can you please pass on the make and model of your PSU as well?
