Before I get started I will say that I am using an r9 280x GPU and a msi z97 PC mate motherboard with integrated graphics, with an i7 4790k.
So, whenever I hook up my second monitor which is a Dell e178fp to my second DVI port on my r9 280x, the monitor is not detected, but my Resolution Properties says there is an available display on the integrated VGA port. So I remove the VGA-DVI converter and plug my monitor into the integrated graphics. This time, the monitor is detected by both the Intel Graphics Control Panel, as well as the Control Panel>>>Screen Resolution, but there is no signal.
when plugged into the GPU, the power led is orange as in it is sleeping, but on the integrated it is green, and is detected by the PC, but there is no output on the display.
