Hello,

We got Z390-DESIGNARE (link below), and it says "Support for up to 3 displays at the same time." The motherboard has 1 hdmi, 2 thunderbold/usb c and 1 display port input. The HDMI is working on a monitor atm.

Two issues:
1) I cannot attach with usb-c another monitor, I get no signal. Any ideas why?

2) Why is the display input and not OUTPUT. What's the use of that?

3) Further, the manual shows that if I buy an additional graphics card, I connect a cable from the graphics card to the Display port input. Why?

Thank you!

Solution
"Why is the display input and not OUTPUT. What's the use of that?"

DP input
is for an external graphics card, as clearly stated on website -- it can't be used for a monitor.
