i have searched the posts and found some info but not exactly what i need. i am wondering if i can do anything with a 533 ppga celeron and intel bi 440zx 66mhz mobo. can i overclock anything? there are no multiplier jumpers on the board. i couldnt find crashmans post about clipping pins from cpu.... does anyone know about this set up?

Don't some ZX motherboards also support 100FSB? The pin tricks only work if you can raise the bus speed to 100! This precludes your processor anyway, as the old PPGA won't go much beyond 533. It would work with a 533 FC-PGA as long as the motherboard supports 100FSB. I think your motherboard and processor are both at max speed.

some zx mobo's do support 100mhz fsb, unfortunately the "BI" version does not. its actually not a bad little setup though, just wondered if you knew any way i could squeak a little more performance out of it.... thanks for getting back to me.

i had a cellery 500 i could get it up to 562 (75mhz fsb), but no further.
if your board doesnt support fsb changes then your kinda stuck.
could get a new mobo, but then you may as well get a new processor too.
