Hey guys,

So I went to sleep and when i woke up I brought my pc out of sleep mode and BAM BSOD, computer restarted and when i went into windows my Samsung 840 pro ssd was gone. My Samsung is my second drive which i have all my games and steam installed on. I checked my bios and its not showing up there either.

Steps I've tried so far:
1) power cycle
2) checked cables, all seem to be fine

Any help would be appreciated thnx again guys.

I remember this happening 3 or 4 months ago but it just fixed itself after about an 1 hour but this time its a no go. I'm gonna try to connect it to another pc and see if it pops up.

As far as the warranty goes I'm not sure, I know I've had it for over a year so its probably up.

Tried it on another comp, same thing its not being detected at all. I'm starting to think it might be the end for my ssd but I don't know a lot on the subject so if anyone has any ideas on how to bring it back to life or could explain to me this problem as I hear its somewhat common in ssd's I would really appreciate it.

No way I know of, I'd get an RMA ASAP on it don't delay any longer. If bought from authorized dealers then you have a 5 year warranty.

Yea I bought it from fry's so I just got off the phone with Samsung they sent an RMA request form to my email. I should have np with the warranty if I can track down my receipt from Fry's which i believe they can track down via my debit card number.
