2TB/3TB drive to get - which one?

None of the drives I've searched for have good reviews on Newegg. Since the upcoming games have huge size, I don't want to be short, I don't usually like to get multiple hard drives.
Which ones have shown good reliability and have a size of 2TB or more? My options are: Seagate and Western Digital.

Hey cst1992. If you decide to go with Western Digital, then I'd recommend that you take a look at the WD Black drive. Especially if you're going to be playing a lot of games. It's a high-performance drive designed for gaming, video editing and demanding software in general. It has both 2TB and 3TB models and it comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
You can take a closer look at its features here: WD Black
When you say that you want to play the new games, then I assume that your motherboard is new and would have no problem supporting larger capacities than 2TB, but just in case, I'd recommend that you check that, just to be on the safe side.

At the end of the day, you should choose whatever you feel will suit you better.

Hope...

Well, you wouldn't have any problem with larger capacity drives. So when it comes to the HDD's size, it's up to you, your budget and the games you want to have on the drive at the same time, although in my opinion you'll do just fine with 2TB. If you decide to record videos while you play or have more data on the drive, then perhaps a 3TB would be a better option. As I said, it depends mostly on your personal preference. :)

I personally go with an SSD drive for my OS and installations (256GB) is large enough and store my data on slower WD greens for my data(vids, music, pictures, etc.)

I had used a WD Black prior to my SSD drive and if I had the chance to not spend the money on the SSD I probably wouldn't have bought it as the benefits (speed) are nice they don't justify the cost in my case as I plenty of patience. :)

Just be sure to buy it from a firm that has a good return/replacement practice.

2 TB should be more then enough, I reccomened that you get a WD20EADS(Western Digital 20EADS) and on newegg it's like 223 dollars, a little expensive, but that's how much you need for 2 TB. 1 TB is just enough for me but if you need more HDD that's your opinion.

And if you change your mind and get 1 TB, I strongly reccomened Seagate ST310005N1A1AS-RK.

This is an older model of the WD Green drives. You can get the newer ones for a lot cheaper than that. The WD Green drives run cool and quiet, but they are designed to be used as secondary storage HDDs, not gaming. If you have to choose out of those two HDDs for gaming, then the right choice is the WD Black drive.

I am leaning towards a WD Caviar Green, as HDD performance does not matter much for gaming, I'm getting fast RAM for that.
What I'm more concerned about is the drives' reviews. None of them indicate 'Yeah, go for these, any day'.
Although, I admit, most reviews are only done for products gone bad, which they do, with the company not being at fault.
What do you recommend, 2 1TB drives or a single 2TB drive?

Generally speaking, you are right about the HDD performance and its affect on gaming. The obvious and noticeable difference between two different RPM HDDs for example would be less loading time of your games and faster loading screens in-game. If you decide to go with the WD Green drive, you should have no problem playing any games, but if you want to stream/record videos with high FPS and resolution, then I'd go for the WD Black.

As for 2x1TB drives or 1x2TB drive, then I'd always recommend that you get two separate drives if you have enough SATA connections (having in mind possible future expansion), but that doesn't mean that the 2TB drives are less reliable than the 1TB ones, this is just my personal preference. :)
