Hi, first time poster:

I am building a PC currently. I am using the Asus z170-A with an i5-6600k and the memory I purchased is the ram mentioned in the title: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231882 . However, I bought two packs of this separately because I am not a smart man. In hindsight, 2x8GB is the way better idea but I've made my bed now I have to sleep in it.

Will I run into many issues first boot? I've read a lot about the same RAM not being compatible and other things, or that I may have to change my voltages. What kind of voltages should I run? I assume I just run the same timings that are on the package. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Solution
It is possible, you could run into compatibility issues between the two sets. That is why manufacturers sell MATCHED sets of 4 DIMMs. There is no way to predict. You purchased them at the same time and they are the same model, so you maximized your probabilities, but I can't predict.
