Pros: a great psu for the price
powers my gtx 970 sli
That could be a model of the card or it could be two of them, nvidia suggests a 600 w for one.
What are the rest of your system specs, as it would help for PSU calculations. Also, as chainsaw mentioned having SLI 970s, they use considerably less power than 780s. Probably 150 to 200W less than 2 780s.

I already have one 780 so it would be kinda a waste of money to just get rid of that and buy 2 more GPU's im not bothered about power usage, i just hoping i dont need another psu, but if i do, no big deal.
You might be able to squeeze by using your current PSU, but I think you would be pushing it both w/ the available wattage and the fact that the CX series is Corsair's entry level PSU series. Again, it may work fine, but you may shorten the lifespan of the PSU depending on how gaming your doing w/ 2 780s.

Im pretty sure it's time for a better psu, I do tend to defend the cx series quite often here. With a reasonable amount of knowledge of this product line I have to say get something new.
