2x GTX 980TI or GTX 1080?

Hi guys, first of all I am a complete PC noob. I'm going to be leaving the US fairly soon and was thinking of upgrading mY PC before I leave. Currently I have a 980 TI installed, and am wondering if it'd be better to have 2x 980 TI (buy another 980TI right now) or get a GTX 1080? Also was lurking the forums 2x 980 TI = SLI? and if yes people say lots of games don't support SLI anymore, does that mean it'd be kind of useless?

ummm, no trouble per se, have a dual monitor setup, when skyping/watching twitch or a stream on my 2nd monitor FPS does drop quite a bit (CSGO from 400-200 which is still fine, unless its the new maps like Nuke or Cache it'd go below 100), but yeah in general just want like that constant 200-300 FPS while being able to watch streams etc

Get the 980 ti. The 1080 wont be fully released fir a few weeks and the used resale value of the 980 ti is between 300-450. Or just sell your 980 ti and buy 2 1070s, which are faster and have more ram and use less power than the 980 ti
