2x HD 5830 or 1x HD 6970?

Hello, I'm wondering if 2 5830's would be better than 1 6970. I've already got a 5830 so it would be a cheaper option, but would do you guys think?

CF is one cheap way to upgrade your performance but you must know going for multi gpu setup is a bit more complex than handling single gpu. you can compare HD5830 in CF vs HD6970 here:

I actually faced the same situation! I bought another HD 5830, for crossfire. Overclocked them to 975MHZ and played BF3 at 1920 X 1080 nicely.
