Hi everyone, I recently just bought 8 HD monitors, purely because it was an absolute bargain, but now I need to upgrade my GPU situation to put them to use.

Would two 280Xs be sufficient for running 8 monitors? I would only ever game on one or two at most, so mainly I will be using the monitors for Photoshop, CAD and rendering. I don't plan on doing this all at once, but I definitely don't want it to be sluggish.

Also, what size PSU would you recommend?

Thank you in advance,
Brodie

You may be able to get by with it but I'd prefer you had a 290x or titan black for that many monitors assuming they are 1920x1080p or greater. If they are 1280x720p hd then it may work better. Also I hope the refresh rates are standard 60hz. No way you'll pull this off smoothly if they 75, 120 or 144mhz. You'll need a minimum 800w psu for 2xcrossfire but maybe you'll need 3x and 1000W+.

even a gtx titan black wont be enough, according to benchmarks a gtx titan black w/ 3 screens @ 1080p runs thief @ 40 fps
